Different Ways To Keep Your Artificial Turf Clean

Last updated 1 year ago

Whether you want to install synthetic grass in Perth over natural earth, sandfill, concrete or paving, we have a solution for your needs.

If you have artificial grass instead of real grass in your garden, or you’re considering getting it but aren’t quite sure yet, you probably have a few questions about how to maintain it.

One of the best things about having synthetic turf is that it’s incredibly low maintenance. After all, it never grows so never needs to get cut, it doesn’t get muddy so you won’t have to worry about kids and pets tracking mud into your nice clean house, and it stays in the same pristine condition year round, meaning you barely have to lift a finger at all.

Well, almost. Just as with real grass, it’s possible for artificial grass to get dirty. Thankfully, however, it’s very easy to clean your turf and get back to enjoying a beautiful lawn all year.

If you notice your turf isn’t looking as clean as usual, you can start by simply using a hose with a spray attachment to wash the dirt all off. This removes any fibres and dirt that shouldn’t be there quickly and easily. Sometimes it’s necessary to go a little bit further with your cleaning, and you can go over the lawn with a broom and give it a good sweep too.

This should really be all that’s required for cleaning a lawn that’s only soiled with the occasional bit of debris. If your grass becomes stained in any way, or grows a little mould, you can scrub it with a very light bleach solution to remove.
